Probably. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To help us with the review, please include additional information in the request description, which will help us evaluate any copyright restrictions that may be associated with the content. For example, include whether you are asking the student to read the content AND watch the video, or only do one or the other.
If you are directing the students to watch and read, both pieces of media must be evaluated. If the video is from another copyright holder, a separate request will need to be submitted for it. Another criterion is that the video will include closed captioning and a transcript (or access to them via YouTube).
If you are only directing the student to read the material, the video will usually not be reviewed for copyright restrictions. However, there may be instances where it is intricately associated with the written content and must be reviewed.
