Yes, external resources can be included on course guides. However, these resources must be cleared through permissions before the guide can be built. Library staff must verify the following for external resources to be included:

  1. Permission Request Link:
    • A link to the corresponding permission request must be included in the description below the respective link/resource. o If the permission request link isn’t included, reach out to the ID and ask them to provide the link in the description.
  2. Permissions Check:
    • Check each permission request to ensure it has been cleared for linking.
  3. Pending Permissions:
    • If any external resources have not been cleared, the build must be put on hold until the permissions are processed.
    • Adjust the Library Status to "Pending Permissions."
    • Notify the ID that the requests must be cleared before proceeding with the build.
