For your assignment, you need to pick a topic from the list on your worksheet, find two articles in the library on your chosen topic, and evaluate the credibility and reliability of the articles.

EBSCOhost and ProQuest are the most popular databases in the University Library and are a good fit for this assignment. Another resource to try is Opposing Viewpoints in Context. All three are on the library homepage under the Research Databases heading.

Once you have chosen your topic, select appropriate keywords to enter into the database. You can refer to the Develop a Search Strategy guide for help or review the FAQ for your topic to get specific keyword help.

To evaluate the credibility and reliability of the information, refer to the Evaluate Sources guide. Here, you will find helpful information and a video about using the CRAAP method (currency, relevance, authority, accuracy, and purpose) to determine if a source is a good choice for your research.
