Where can I find videos in the library?

The library has databases devoted to videos in its collection. To see a full list:

  1. Click on the Research Databases icon from the library's homepage.
  2. In the Database Types Filter drop down menu, select Multimedia.

Here are some of our more popular multimedia databases.


Sage Videos provides real-world perspectives and examples of situations to help you apply what you've learned outside of the classroom. It's an appropriate resource for students at all levels and covers a wide variety of disciplines and topics.

Academic Video Online includes videos such as documentaries, interviews, performances, and news. Topic covered include art, business, counseling, criminal justice, economics, literature, history, music, nursing, political science, religion, and science.

Films on Demand provides videos on a wide range of topics, including humanities and social sciences, business and economics, science, and health.

Use the Advanced Search link to limit your search to a specific subject (psychology, counseling, business, etc.)


Nursing@Ovid includes video, audio, and image files covering topics such as critical care, pediatric nursing, emergency medicine, and pharmacology.

Nursing Education in Video focuses on the education and training of nurses, nursing assistants, and other healthcare workers. All of the videos in the collection have been created with the guidance of the Medcom-Trainex advisory board, and are regularly reviewed for accuracy, currency, and compliance with appropriate US federal regulations.
