Choosing the right database or databases for your research can seem daunting, but we have some tips to help you get started.

Subject Pages

The library has pages that break down the best library databases and popular journals by subject or database type. Select the View all subjects link from the library's homepage and choose the subject related to your topic.

Database List

  1. On the library's homepage, select the Research Databases icon.
  2. Use the Subjects drop-down menu to narrow the list of databases by subject. If there are databases that we consider to be especially relevant to a subject, that database will be listed as Recommended.
  3. Scroll down the list and select the database you want to search.

Once you select a database, consider looking at the Develop a Search Strategy guide to help create and modify your search. For more help, see the Choosing a Database section.
