Finding peer-reviewed sources in the library isn't as hard as it sounds. Follow some of these tips to make searching peer-reviewed sources easier. First, check out the library’s How Do I Find Peer-Reviewed and Scholarly Materials guide for tips and guidance, including a few short videos. Scroll to the bottom of the guide to find a handy document which explains the different sections of a peer-reviewed article.

Next, visit the Research Databases list and select Peer-reviewed from the Type drop-down list, to ensure the database you use has peer-reviewed sources. You can further narrow your database selection by using the Subject drop-down menu.

Lastly, during your search, be sure to check the Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals box to ensure that your search results display peer-reviewed sources. Good luck with your search!
